Jerry Baron,
Oregon painter, works chiefly in oil bar and acrylic on paper or
hardboard. His works speak for themselves; full of spontaneous
expression and strong color use. Often his paintings provide a
satirical or cutting-edge statement about the human condition and/or
society. The colorist has exhibited in major Portland art
galleries the last 10 years and has also shown at the Hult Center for
the Performing Arts in Eugene, the University of Oregon, Portland
University, Sunriver in the Cascades, Coos Art Museum, Virginia Inn in
Seattle, White Bird Gallery at Canon Beach, and other galleries in
Oregon.
