Welcome to the King's family web site.

Nahum and Serepta King came to Oregon in 1845 on the Oregon Trail.  They settled in a little valley in the Coast Range and named it Kings Valley.  Their sixteen children left many descendants now living all over the United States and Canada.  This web site is an attempt to gather information about the King Family and make it available to all of those descendants.  If you are a descendant, we would love to hear from you.  You can contact us through Jackie Farris at jackiefarris@all-oregon.com

General Meeting 1:30 p.m.

Special Viewing of Charles King House 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

We Kings have been invited to a special open house at the Charles King house located at 22930 Harris Road, Philomath. This house is on the National Historic Register so must have an open house once a year. The current owners, the McKee's, are planning their open house this year to coincide with our reunion. Their main viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and most of us could not attend during that time. So, they have consented to be open one more hour later in the afternoon, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., for King family members to drop by. They estimate that it is about a 15 minute drive from the Kings Valley School to their home.  Directions will be given at the reunion.
