Ricy Tims Seminar
February 3-4, 2006 -- Portland
The Portland Community College, Sylvania Campus. This is not a hands-on workshop, but a two-day lecture event, with Ricky on stage demonstrating with the help of projection equipment so the audience can follow along. (You don't even have to take notes because you receive a manual!) Besides the two days of instruction, your registration includes a special program on Friday night, featuring Ricky.

Annual Quilting Workshop, Zion Mennonite Church
February 23-25, 2006 -- Hubbard
Demonstrations of each step of quilt making; applique, piecing, marking, quilting (learners quilt for practice), and binding, display of approximately 100 quilts and wall hangings popular feature: homemade soup and bread lunch for donation. Annual "Airing of the Quilts"
March 24-25, 2006 -- Milwaukie
Friday will be Community Day at the Quilt Show, and no admission will be charged (though a $3 donation is welcome!). Besides the quilts, there will be the attraction of a Vendor's Mall and a Bistro Lunch. Saturday will include:a $4.00 admission charge.• Quilt Show• Vendor Mall• Quilting demonstrations from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. • Special Exhibit of Quilt Teachers' quilts• Eileen Trestain will again be doing quilt appraisals for a fee. Retreat in Gold Hill
March 31-April 2, 2006 -- Gold Hill
Join us at the beautiful St. Rita’s retreat in Gold Hill, OR for a weekend of quilting, games, and great food. This retreat was created for your enjoyment and a time of relaxation. So, please feel free to bring your own personal projects to work on. A $95 fee covers lodging, food, and classes-members; $100 for non-members. Cost for the day (Saturday) is $20 for members-$25 non-members which covers your noon meal and use of the facilities. We need a head count for the meals, so please RSVP. See you there! Quilter’s Show
May 13-14, 2006 -- Pendleton
At the Pendleton Convention Center. Hours are 9-6 on Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday. Our featured quilter this year is Nancy Dudley from Salem, Oregon. She will be teaching a class on Friday the 12th. Class information will be available after the first of February. We hang over 200 quilts and have 16 vendors in a well lit display. Our raffle quilt this year is a stunning traditional pieced quilt with an applique border. Our group also will sponsor a Krazy Horse challenge, using a purchased piece of fabric, that awards cash prizes to the winners of the public voting. This year's first place winner is eligible to win $150.00. Information on purchasing challenge fabric is available by emailing - Colleen Blackwood

“ArchiTexture” Contemporary Quilt & Fiber Art Show & Sale
June 4-26, 2006 -- Silverton
“ArchiTexture” is an exhibition of contemporary quilts and fine fiber artwork influenced by the design and sensibility of modern architecture and nature. Wright designed the Gordon House to be in communion with the natural surroundings of its siting. Annual Quilt Show "Coming Up Roses"

A vendor mall with 8 -12 vendors with everything a quilter could want - almost, Demonstrations twice a day. People's Choice award. Our raffle quilt is a rose sampler. The Money raised from this quilt and /or the show, we give two $300 scholarships to Baker High School seniors. We are off I-84. Miners Jubilee is also going on in Baker at the same time with events for the whole family, A vendor mall, mining activities, bull riding and food vendors, parade on Saturday.
