Cascadia State Park

Crawfordsville Covered Bridge  
The bridge at Crawfordsville displays another version of Linn County's open truss style. The roofed span, built in 1932, shows a narrow slit window on both sides of the structure. Originally the portals were rounded, but were later enlarged by State Highway employees to allow larger loads.

The Moyer House -- Brownsville
The elegant Moyer House was built by John and Elizabeth Moyer in 1881. The house was inspired by Italianate Villa style, popular at the time, but was an original design. No expense was spared as can be seen in the fine details of the house. The exterior is generously decorated with carved finials, corner boards, frieze boards, and eave brackets.
